Review: | "At the onset, a disclaimer tells viewers that the video does not take the place of first aid training. The program emphasizes that actions taken by those first on the scene are extremely important. First aid begins with recognizing what is going on. The balance of the presentation covers the symptoms and initial steps to be taken in cases of bruising, burns, frost bite, heat exhaustion, water safety accidents, bee stings, seizures, heart attacks, and choking. Although the information is brief, it is helpful in leading viewers to take the right steps and may be just enough to help save a life. The program is straightforward. Terms are well defined and graphically represented. The teacher's guide is available on the company's web site. The video would be useful in secondary health classes or as a quick refresher for a chaperone."
