    Review:
"It is easy for teens who enjoy many soft drinks, eat lots of chocolate, and take some over-the-counter drugs to consume more caffeine than is good for them. They may not realize that caffeine is a drug that can cause mild symptoms like irritability, or generate nervous energy. Some may become addicted, needing ever greater amounts of caffeine and have more serious side effects including insomnia, mood swings, high blood pressure, dehydration, or even bone damage. Although there are positive aspects to caffeine consumption, such as a burst of energy and brief periods of increased mental and physical performance, students need to be aware of the dangers of overdosing and the possibility of becoming dependent on the drug. A narrator presents the material, as scenes show teens in various activities getting too much caffeine and often dealing with the negative consequences. Teens learn how to cut back safely on their caffeine consumption. Important concepts are printed on the screen. This straightforward program is informative and will be useful in health classes."
