Review: | "Lots of information is packed into this well-organized, although brief video about energy. It is divided into five segments. Initially energy is defined as the ability to cause change doing work (W-FxD). Several forms of energy are identified including kinetic, potential, mechanical, internal, and radiant. The Law of Conservation of Energy is demonstrated. Terms explaining ways to measure energy are shown. Finally, viewers are given an environmental example of heat and thermal pollution. Each segment contains real-life experiences, some humorous, to illustrate points. Video animation is excellent. Explanations are clear including a display of all terms graphically. The program would be very useful for basic secondary science classes or as a review or overview for more advanced classes. A teacher's guide is available on the producer's web site."
